2025 Hawaiʻi Nei YOUTH Entry Form

Use one entry form per piece. Aleysia Kaha will be jurying youth divisions. All entries are due by Oct. 10th. Jurying will take place on Oct. 11th. Accepted artwork drop off dates: Kona Frame Shop parking lot on Friday Oct. 31, at 10:00am or the Wailoa Center on Saturday, Nov 1 between 10:00am – 2:00pm. Entry Fee: FREE for youth under 18.

  • If you are entering a class group piece, how many students are in your class?
  • Artwork Information

  • Give measurements of your piece in its protective cardboard envelope. This helps us with logistics in safely transporting your piece to Hilo.
  • Please use this space to share with us any info that gives the juror and/or viewer more insight to you as an artist as well as the inspiration and the species you’re depicting in your artwork.
  • Please list all the names of the native species depicted in your piece. One species per row. This is an important educational component of the exhibition and we strongly encourage artists to take time to research the different plants and animals in their artwork.

  • Sales

    All art will be sold through the Hawaiʻi Island Art Alliance.
  • By participating in the Hawai‘i Nei sales, you understand and agree to the following:

      • All sales will be through the Hawaiʻi Island Art Alliance during the exhibition duration (Nov. 7 – Dec. 11, 2025).
      • Payments will be collected by Hawai‘i Island Art Alliance and distributed to me via check and email notification.
      • I will be responsible for coordinating delivery or shipping of the piece to the customer.
      • All sales are final.
  • Minimum sale price is $20. Youth pieces are NOT required to be for sale (enter $0). Commission: 60% artist, 40% to native species protection and environmental education activities.
  • Please detail in INCHES: Height x Width x Depth
  • All art will be screened for species correctness prior to drop-off via this photo. Unless arranged otherwise, this is the photo that will be used for jurying. Photo release applies to this upload.
